Ewing M. Kauffman Project SOS Golf Classic
May 14th, 2007 Oak Wood Country Club!
The Ewing M. Kauffman Project SOS Golf Classic is the largest fundraiser of the year for Project SOS. The tournament pairs one celebrity player with each four-person team. Celebrity players from past years have included George Brett, Freddie Patek, Lynn Dickey, Buck O’Neill, Deron Cherry and annual host, spokesperson and all-time Royals’ “saves” leader Jeff Montgomery.
Over $1,100,000 has been raised by this event since the tournament started in 1996, making it one of the most popular charity golf outings of the year.
Each golfing team completes for great prizes, with participants able to win individual prizes for longest drive and closest to the pin. At the conclusion of the tournament is an awards dinner for all players and sponsors.
The 2007 tournament will be played May 14th at the beautiful Oak Wood Country Club. To learn more about tournament sponsorship opportunities or how to establish your foursome for this tournament, contact Project SOS at 816-220-1206 today.
